March so far

My hairs grown back so fast. haha, the search for a job and its positive outcome at the moment is low, with the presence of money in my wallet even lower. All I'm doing is skating, seeing han, and waiting for tour to happen, i feel like i should be ashamed of myself, but i'm not because at the moment i'm having so much fun.

The weekend of 20th march we played a few shows with The Argent Dawn (a death metal band from swindon) and Carcer City (a metalcore band from liverpool). The Argent Dawn are possibly the heaviest band in the world lol, just due to their volume level live haha. Both bands are really great dudes and playing shows with them for a couple of days was jokes, and really made me want tour to come even more. i hope it goes well when it does happen.

on february the 21st i helped jubs put on a show at the loaded dog in leytonstone.


the bill was lower than atlantis, deaf havana, my band, proceed, the elijah and our people versus yours.

me and mitch put so much preparation into it, buying the rider, making food, aranging everything, so we get to the venue, and the venue owners switch at us for bring the food and water etc onto their premises, and declare that its an 18+ night.

ruined. 2 whole months preparation and saving for the show ruined. but then, they come round and say theyr going to host it as 16+ for the last time ever, things start to run smoothly again, until the elijah, a friend of my bands are found sneaking alcohol into the premises, about 3 crates worth :|

and the venue owners say that if they do not leave then the gig will be pulled. so the leijah had to go home to birmingham again. basicly, this day was just a whole load of stress for me, when i really wanted to just have fun. it turned out ok in the end, people turned up, the bands played, by the time my band were meant to go on i was completely oblivious to everything. our set went ok, we shortly remembered why we dnt play there anymore though. from now on i'm gooing to give promoters a break when it comes to hassling them. its fucking stressful shit!

infact, i despise it. it was me and hans year anniversary yesterday, and what i had planned couldn't go ahead because of the sodding snow. it seems canada gets over 2 ft of snow everyother day in their winter and they deal with it as something minor and we get a couple of inches and the whole country throws a sicky from life
